OPENING JULY 2026!!!

Enjoy Every Moment

Welcome to My Way Senior Social. We are a non-medical supervised senior social day club. We offer a safe home space where seniors can feel valued and connected. My Way encourages participation in structure activities that stimulate the mind and body while building friendships.

What brought us together?

Tina had a dream and Lori had the tools to make it come true.  Anyone can create a senior social club; however, designing one with two owners with genuine hearts, is a rare gift.

Our Team

Tina Hochwalt

Co-Founder

My name is Tina (Clyde) Hochwalt. I was born and raised in the westside of Cincinnati attending St. Ignatius for grade school and McAuley for high school. I married my husband in 2008. We have 3 boys that attend LaSalle High-school.

I do not currently work under any licensure. I graduated as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2004 and held my COTA/L licensure through 2024. I worked as a treating COTA/L in nursing facilities and worked as a therapy manager for multiple buildings prior to leaving the nursing facilities. During my therapy experiences I was granted funds to design sensory stimulating /enriched areas for residents in memory care. I took a lead role in creating dementia programming at multiple facilities.  In 2023 I transitioned to Memory Care Director at an assisted living facility, owning the development of all activity calendars/group programming, while conducting formal education and presentations on dementia/Alzheimer’s awareness.

In 2021, I was appointed by Governor DeWine to serve on the Alzheimer's Disease or Related Dementia Task Force, established by Amended Senate Bill 24. This bill was established to examine the needs of individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia's, the services available in the state of Ohio for those individuals, and the ability of health care providers and facilities to meet the individuals’ current and future needs.

Lori Pahner

Co-Founder

My name is Lori (Kroeger) Pahner, and I am also a Cincinnati West-sider. I attended St. James White Oak for grade school, McAuley for high school, and went on to earn my degree at The Ohio State University. My husband Mike and I still reside in White Oak, and are cheering on our wonderful daughter, Delaney, as she completes her nursing degree.

My background is rooted in logistics and supply chain, with my last role in the corporate world as a Director of Business Solutions for a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky based company. I made the tough decision in 2025, with tremendous support from my husband, to leave the corporate world for something more meaningful and impactful, even though I wasn’t quite sure what that was.

In the fall of that same year, my family endured yet another heartbreak of a family member experiencing the effects of terrible senior long-term care. As we left hospice that day, I told my mom and my aunt that I felt the calling to do absolutely anything I could to improve this very broken system.

It was the very next day, Tina approached me on this wonderful idea she had to create a senior day center, infused with her skillset in memory care. It was very clearly meant to be, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone into our new social club!
